My Omron G-Walking Style pedometer had an unplanned adventure this weekend through the white water of the washing machine. Curiosity, rather than much hope of ever getting it running again, got me to dig out my tiny screwdriver and open the back, take out the circuit board, dry the LCD and let it air out overnight. I'm so surprised and happy that it's WORKING PERFECTLY today after reassembly! This GREAT pedometer is now performing beyond my expectations of it's life-expectancy!

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

This device looked promising until I read the instructions cover to cover and discovered that there's no reset button. The step count resets daily at midnight, but you can't reset the count yourself (unless you reset the entire device to factory settings, but then you lose the clock and other setup values). I want a pedometer to start counting when I say so, not when the mfr says so...

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I bought this pedometer to replace a cheap one that I bought some time ago that stopped working. This unit worked great!! The only drawback that I can find so far is the the "set" button is a little small for me. I had to use a toothpick to use this function. Other then that, I think it is a great unit

I was very excited to get my first Omron pedometer as a birthday gift 2 years ago as I am an avid hiker and wanted to know the distance I had traveled towards my destination. I initially loved this product as it was easy enough to use and very light weight/ compact, but after not using it for about a 6 month period it did not work again when I needed it, and various efforts to reset the pedometer failed. I will never again desire to have an Omron pedometer. Something this simple should last more than 1.5 years.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
